NTC Transport is a family-owned company on the west coast of Finland with 70 years of experience in the logistics industry. We operate mainly in the Nordic countries but are happy to work wherever our services are needed, also internationally.

We have been working for several years to offer more sustainable transportation to our customers. Through conscious investments, all our vehicles are Euro 6 classified and can run on renewable diesel. The load capacity of our equipment allows us to carry more goods per transport, resulting in a lower environmental impact.

As our customer, you can choose a more environmentally friendly alternative through the use of renewable diesel for your transports. HVO 100 emits up to 90 percent less greenhouse gases than traditional diesel.

Take the next step in your customer journey. The customer portal provides versatile transport data and is an effective work tool. Here, several people at your company can take part in everything from bookings, deliveries, and documentation/consignment notes to time tracking and environmental footprints. It can also be customized to offer customer-specific reports for different time intervals, send feedback, or submit claims, for example.

70 YEARS IN THE TRANSPORT BUSINESS

NTC Transport got its current name in the 80s after a merger with local transport companies, but the company’s operations started already in 1953. In 1964, routes from Eastern Finland to Nykarleby started. The head office is still located in Nykarleby today.

In the 1970s, transports to Sweden and Norway began, and in the 1990s, the export transports became increasingly important thanks to the forest industry. In the 2000s, a generational shift took place in the family business, and the company established itself in the Nordic market.

In the 2010s, the vehicle fleet is modernized, the business is digitized, and the range of services is expanded with project services. In the 2020s, the company has experienced good growth, and there is a strong belief in the future. With continuous development of operations and sustainable transport solutions, the company maintains and strengthens its competitiveness.
